The truce is being observed in Ukraine, its fate will be determined in the upcoming night. This opinion was expressed by the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Dzhabarov.
"According to incoming reports, the truce is being observed by both parties to the conflict - both the militia and the Ukrainian army. Media reports give positive signals - in Donetsk peaceful life has been restored, humanitarian aid is coming," he said.
The senator expects that "such high guarantors of the armistice agreement," as the presidents of Russia, France and the German Chancellor "will cool off the hot heads in Kiev and will stop them taking steps that could disrupt the truce."
