The leaders of France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine have noted that the ceasefire in Ukraine is generally being observed. This was stated in a communiqué issued today from the Elysee Palace.
"They have studied the effectiveness of the ceasefire regime that entered into force today. They concluded that it is mainly being observed, despite a number of local incidents that need to be settled quickly," Interfax quotes the document.
Francois Hollande, Angela Merkel, Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko also expressed their willingness to work together during a telephone conversation in order to implement the Minsk agreements of February 12.
