UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has strongly condemned the shootings in Copenhagen and stated the need to "stand firm" for freedom of speech.
"The Secretary-General has confirmed that there exist no justifications for the attacks on civilians, and reaffirmed the need to stand firm for freedom of speech and tolerance," RIA Novosti quotes Ban's press service. "In today's world there is no place for anti-Semitism or any forms of racial, ethnic or religious discrimination."
