Kazakhstan's ruling party, Nur Otan, supports the proposal of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on early presidential elections, the press service of the party said today.
“On February 14, the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan put forward an initiative to hold early elections for the President of Kazakhstan in 2015. Nur Otan, as the leading political force in the country, fully supports this initiative,” Trend cited the message.
Kazakhstan's ruling party also said in its message that a new wave of financial and economic crisis is spreading in the world today. Serious geopolitical tension is aggravating the situation and, as a result, even the most developed countries are experiencing increasing xenophobia, religious intolerance and enhanced radical movements.
“The coming years will be a time for global tests. Not all countries, but only strong states, close-knit nations will succeed in getting through this difficult time with dignity,” the ruling party cited remarks made earlier by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

“In this regard, by supporting the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, we consider the initiative to hold early presidential elections as the most right decision, meeting the interests of the country and the people,” the message said.
The ruling party expressed confidence that this move will make it possible to focus the efforts of the parliament, the government, central and local bodies of the government, and unite the creative energy of the people in order to achieve the main goal - the prosperity and welfare of Kazakhstan, according to the message.
The Nur Otan party summoned all citizens, political parties and social forces to support the initiative of holding early presidential elections in Kazakhstan.
