France's Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that the issue of delivery of Mistral helicopter carriers to Russia is not on the agenda.
"The issue of delivery of Mistral helicopter carriers to Russia is not on the current agenda," Tass cited him as saying.
Russia signed a €1.12 billion contract with France in June 2011, stipulating the construction of two Mistral-class helicopter carriers for the Russian Navy. The ships have a displacement of 21 tons, the maximum length of the body is 210 metres, the speed is 18 knots, the cruising range is up to 20 thousand miles.
