The German government has started work on a new White Book, the document containing the concept of the German armed forces and security policy, according to German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen.
The minister admitted that Russia’s course, started long before the crisis in Ukraine, will remain a big concern for Germany for a long time, TASS reports.
The existing White Book of Germany was last updated in 2006. Russia is called a priority partner in it. The new concept will appear in 2016.
Ursula von der Leyen noted that Berlin was ready to put as much effort into fighting international threats as it could.
