Turkey and U.S. prepare program to train Syrian opposition

Turkey and the U.S. will soon sign a program to train the Syrian opposition, spokesman of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Tanju Bilgic said. A protocol of intentions will soon be signed and training of the Free Syrian Army will start in March, TASS reports. 

30 U.S. experts will arrive in Turkey in March to train groups of 300. A total of 2000 Syrians will be trained, starting with Turkmens. Training will take three months.

Qatar and Saudi Arabia will take part in the program. 15,000 oppositionists a year will be trained.
