Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko has suggested that the National Security and Defense Council consider the possibility of deploying an international peacekeeping force to Ukraine.
"I suggested considering the issue of a UN peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, which will act in accordance with a UN Security Council mandate. The best format for us is a police mission from the European Union," he said.
According to Tass, he also asked the security officials to update legislation on martial law in the country.
