Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will arrive on a two-day official visit in Tbilisi today to hold meetings with senior officials of Georgia.
Earlier, Georgian Foreign Ministry spokesperson David Kereselidze stressed the importance of this visit in the context of the strategic and friendly relations between Tbilisi and Baku, especially in matters of energy and transport.
According to Kereselidze, during the visit Mammadyarov will meet the Georgian President, Prime Minister and Speaker of Parliament and Foreign Minister.
The meetings will cover a wide range of Georgian-Azerbaijani relations, including cooperation in the fields of politics, the economy, energy and culture, Interfax-Azerbaijan said.
