Araghchi: talks with US on nuclear program start on February 20

Bilateral talks between the foreign ministries of Iran and the US on Iran's nuclear program will begin in Geneva on 20 February, deputy head of the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

 

According to him, the consultations will last four days. US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will meet on February 21 and February 22.

 

The talks between Iran and the P5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) were extended until June 30 to reach a comprehensive nuclear agreement. However, the sides are attempting to reach a political accord by March 24, TASS reports.
