Withdrawal of heavy weapons in Donbas starts today

The head of the Ukrainian group of the military at the joint center of monitoring and coordinating issues of the ceasefire and stabilization of situation, Petr Kanonik, said that the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of contact in the Donbas is to begin on Sunday, February 22.

"Just an hour ago, Russia's representative in the joint center, (Colonel General) Alexander Lentsov, signed with (head of the self-proclaimed DPR) Zakharchenko, and before that with (head of the self-proclaimed LPR) Igor Plotnitsky, documents to divert heavy weapons. The time will start on February 22nd," TASS quoted Kanonik.
