On the second day of the visit to Iran of the Minister of Natural Resources of Russia, Sergey Donskoy, a meeting was held with the Iranian Minister of Petrol, Bidzhan Namdar Zangane, during which an agreement on further cooperation in the field of oil and gas was reached.
Negotiations with the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzade also took place. "There were discussed the experiences of Russian geologists in searching on the territory of Iran for deposits of ferrous and precious metals, coal and other minerals that are of interest for the economic development of the Islamic Republic," the Russian minister said.
