Turkish Presidential Envoy Ibrahim Kalin said today that Turkey alone could not stop foreigners from joining ISIS. In his words, 1400 foreign mercenaries have been deported, TASS reports.
Kalin noted that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was using ISIS to fight the Free Syrian Army.
Commenting on the Suleiman Shah Tomb in Syria, Kalin clarified that it was evacuated due to high risks. The tomb had been moved twice before. Kalin added that the government had done all it needed to protect the memory of the ancestors of the Turkish people.
