Damascus has turned to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the Security Council to express condemnation of the evacuation of the Tomb of Suleyman Shah, which Turkey held on the night of February 22 in Syria, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said.
"The Syrian government calls upon the Secretary-General (Ban Ki-moon) and the UN Security Council to condemn Turkey's aggression against Syria and to take the necessary steps immediately against the Turkish government as per the UN Charter and relevant Security Council resolutions," RIA Novosti cited the statement.
