A UN spokesman did not comment on the evacuation of the Tomb of Suleyman Shah undertaken by Turkey in Syria, while turning to the Syrian authorities and the opposition of the country to allow two-way conflict between them.
"I think, obviously, we've seen the continuing violence in Syria, which for us just underscores again the need to reach a political agreement," TASS cited the official representative of UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric.
But Dyuzharrik didn't give a specific answer to a journalist's question, as to whether the operation was carried out by Turkey in violation of international law. "I know what the question was. I heard it and I answered it to the best of my ability," the representative of the UN Secretary General said.
