The Istanbul Court has issued an arrest warrant for journalist Emre Uslu. He is suspected of wiretapping the telephones of the government. Another warrant was issued for Islamic theologian Fethullah Gulen, TASS reports.
Uslu is a columnist of the Taraf newspaper, the articles of which are notable for their heavy criticism of the government.
In early February 2015, the court ordered the arrest of Uslu for allegedly insulting and slandering the National Intelligence Chief, Hakan Fidan.
