Over 50 supporters of Gulen movement detained in Ankara

 

Around 54 supporters of Fethullah Gulen have been detained as a result of a special operation conducted by the police in Ankara.

 

The operation began in 20 districts of the capital of Turkey in the morning, Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported. 

 

A large-scale staff reshuffle is expected to take place in the government bodies of Turkey as part of fight against the Gulen movement, Trend reminds.

 

Fethullah Gulen is an Islamic public figure currently residing in the US.
