Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected an offer made by US Senators from the Democratic Party for a separate meeting during his upcoming visit next week in Washington.
"I am honored by your invitation to meet with Democratic senators. However, I believe that if I accept it, it will be misunderstood as a partiality during the visit," Interfax cited the letter to Democratic senators Richard Durbin and Dianne Feinstein.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Republican John Boehner, earlier invited the Israeli prime minister to address Congress with his vision of an agreement with Iran on the Iranian nuclear program, without consulting on the invitation with President Barack Obama.
