BSEC conference opens in Sochi

The international conference of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation has opened in Sochi, Yuga.ru reports.
The conference is taking place in the Olympic capital for the first time.

The main topic of the conference was development of the Black Sea region's resorts and tourist infrastructure. The concepts of the development were presented by Ukraine, Serbia, Greece, Bulgaria, Armenia and Turkey. The conference was supported by the UN's World Tourist Organization. The head of the tourism department of the Krasnodar region, Yevgeny Kudel, made a report in which he noted the role of the upcoming Olympics for the development of the region and the country.
