An Azerbaijani soldier, Javad Hojayev, was killed in the front zone as a result of a mine explosion.
The Azerbaijani defense ministry said that Hojayev was called to do active military service in the Oguz district of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
An investigation is underway.
