Russian State Duma deputy Roman Khudyakov has proposed introducing criminal responsibility for distortion of the history of Russia.
According to him, there is a fierce information war against Russia, including efforts to distort the country's history.
Khudyakov reminded that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Grzegorz Schetyna, spoke about the liberation of Auschwitz by Ukrainians, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk spoke about the Soviet invasion of Ukraine and Germany, and the head of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, described the grand Prince of Kiev, Vladimir, as "the creator of the medieval European Russia-Ukraine country."
