Turkey may provide the military base "Incirlik" to carry out operations against Syria if such a decision is made, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated.
According to him, this issue could be discussed if Turkey and the United States are able to reach a consensus on the Syrian issue. "It is important to determine the purpose of the operation. We are against a "cosmetic" operation aimed only at "punishing" the group Islamic State. If so, we shall not enter Syria. A large-scale plan should be directed against the regime of Assad," the Minister is quoted by 1news.az.
