The head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, regards the murder of prominent politician Boris Nemtsov as a provocation arranged against Russia and its president.
Abdulatipov stressed that Nemtsov's murder was "cruel and cynical" and expressed condolences to his family and friends.
"I am quite sure that the murder of the opposition politician is a provocation aimed against Russia in order to aggravate the situation in the country. Nemtsov became an easy target for achieving the objectives of certain groups," Yuga.ru cited a message on Abdulatipov's Instagram account.
