The leader of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK,) Abdullah Ocalan, might be released early from prison, the former deputy head of the Turkish Justice and Development Party (JDP) Dengir Mir Mehmet Firat said.
According to him, there is currently no need to keep Ocalan in prison, since he "speaks against all forms violence and has urged the PKK militants to lay down their arms," Trend cited his interview to the Hurriyet newspaper.
