Turkey and Saudi Arabia to support Syrian opposition more actively

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have agreed to intensify support for the Syrian opposition. They discussed the situation in Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Egypt and Yemen, RIA Novosti reports. 

Erdogan arrived in Saudi Arabia on February 28. He made a pilgrimage to Masjid al-Haram (Sacred Mosque) in Mecca on March 1. He had an official meeting with the king in Riyadh today. The sides discussed cooperation in the economic, security and defense spheres.
