Baku is hosting a meeting of the expert group of the ad hoc working group on the Caspian Sea, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reports.
The expert group is also discussing the details of the text of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea, which is planned to be signed during the next summit of the Caspian states in Astana this year, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports.
The meeting of the ad hoc working group on the Caspian Sea will be held in Baku on March 4-5. The meeting will consider developing a draft agreement on economic cooperation between the Caspian states, as well as the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan on the establishment of a permanent Caspian Economic Forum as a mechanism for the implementation of this document.
