Assad accuses Erdogan of supporting opposition for personal ambitions

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said in a conversation with the Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Turkey, Dogu Perincek, that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was supporting the Syrian opposition to please his supporters and boost his personal ambitions, RIA Novosti reports.
