Nalchik to honor 2005 raid police dead

Nalchik will host a memorial ceremony on October 13 in memory of the
police officers who died during a 2005 militant raid on the city, the
capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, Interfax reports.

The ceremony, to be held at the government building, will start with a
minute of silence.

At least 35 police officers were killed when militants attacked
Nalchik on October 13-14, 2005.
