Azerbaijan protest against Armenia to the UN

Azerbaijan protests against Armenia to the UN.
The Azerbaijani permanent representative to the United Nations,
Ambassador Agshin Mehdiyev, has written a letter to the UN Secretary
General concerning the diplomatic incident between Azerbaijan and
Armenia which occurred in New York on the 27th of September, ANS
reports, referring to the UN head office.

"I would like to inform you that with yet another provocative act
Armenia has violated the UN Charter and the obligations of the Vienna
Convention on the Fundamental Principles and the Diplomatic Relations
of International Law. On the 27th of September the Permanent Mission
of Armenia to the United Nations hung two flags up in front of the
main UN office in New York - the Armenian flag and a piece of cloth,
which they call "the flag of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic", illegally
established by Armenia on occupied Azerbaijani territories. As a
result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijani side, the
"flag" of the separatists was taken down...” - the letter says.
