Switzerland bans trade with Crimea

 

Switzerland has updated its laws to prevent use of its territory to evade EU sanctions imposed on Russia. In addition to the EU sanctions of August 27, 2014, Switzerland implemented the restrictions adopted in December 2014, banning trade with Crimea and Sevastopol, RIA Novosti reports.The list of products banned from exporting to Crimea and Sevastopol was expanded. Moreover, the Federal Council added 28 people and enterprises to the sanction list, banning their trade with Swiss businessmen.
