Russian convoy to deliver humanitarian aid to Donetsk miners

 

The Russian Ministry for Emergencies has organized an urgent convoy to deliver humanitarian aid to families of the miners killed in the Zasyadko coal mine and the population of Donetsk, said Alexander Drobyshevsky, spokesman of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, RIA Novosti reports.The convoy consists of over 20 vehicles with over 200 tons of food and medicine.230 miners were underground when an explosion happened at the Zasyadko mine in the morning of March 4. 34 people died.
