Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria are close to signing a memorandum on the construction of the Eastring gas pipeline from the Slovak-Ukrainian border to the Bulgarian-Turkish border, Aktuality reports.
Working groups composed of representatives of state gas transportation systems have already been created. Financing of the construction of the pipeline is expected to be carried out by a consortium of companies participating in the construction," Gazeta.ru reports.
The launch of the pipeline is scheduled for 2018, its capacity will reach 20 billion to 40 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
