Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has appointed the new police chief in Iran.
In a decree, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei officially installed Brigadier-General Hosein Ashtari.
Ashtari replaces Brigadier-General Esmayeel Ahmadi Moqaddam.Khamenei made the appointment as chief of the armed forces of the country in accordance with the law of the country's police.
