Belarus is ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in all areas, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov.
"We really trust you, your country, your governance, and we are ready to cooperate with you in all areas, so there are absolutely no closed themes," the head of state said, noting that Belarus and Azerbaijan have always successfully solved all problematic issues," Trend reports.
"We met today to see if there are any questions, we can quickly consider it," Lukashenko said, noting that the trade turnover between the two countries has increased in the last year.
The president said that there is joint production of Belarusian tractors, trucks and elevators in Azerbaijan.
Lukashenko noted with satisfaction that the localization of production has already reached 50% in some areas. "So, you get the technology, as we promised you, as I promised Ilham Aliyev, and normal production will be created on your territory," the president said, stressing that the next step is to move joint production to third countries in the Caucasus region.
Alexander Lukashenko also thanked the Azerbaijani side for its support. "You have always supported us, we are just going to treat our fellow Azeris in the same way," the President of Belarus stressed.
In his turn, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan noted that the attitude of the Belarusian head of state toward the Azerbaijani people is priceless.
