The Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has left for Croatia and Slovenia on an official visit.
Zakir Hasanov will be in Croatia from March 10 to 12 at the country’s Defense Minister Ante Kotromanovich’s invitation, and in Slovenia from March 12 to 14 at the country’s Defense Minister Janko Veber's invitation, the press service of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry said.
The purpose of the visit is to hold several meetings with the two countries’ leaderships, to discuss prospective directions of bilateral military cooperation and to exchange ideas on security and other issues, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
