Dagestani Leader Ramazan Abdulatipov has appointed Yusup Mallamagomedov, deputy minister of communication and telecommunications, as the acting minister.Mallamagomedov was born in Ebuta (Khunzakhsky District) on August 7, 1974. He graduated at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 1998 as a specialist in metal processing. He was a teacher at the Subdepartment of Instrumental Equipment and Technology at the University in 2000-2005 simultaneously being an assistant senator of the Saratov Oblast at the Federation Council of Russia. He was deputy head of a section of the Industrial Metrological Systems Group later.In 2012-2013, Mallamagomedov was the director of the Department for Information Technologies of the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts. Since 2013, he has been deputy minister of communication and telecommunications in Dagestan.Minister of Communication and Telecommunications Sefer Aliyev was dismissed on February 27.
