The head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdullatipov, has called on the government of the republic to intensify efforts to establish trade and economic relations with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Iran.
Abdullatipov drew attention to the importance of strengthening international relations from the point of view of the economic prospects of Dagestan.
The head of the republic instructed to organize a travelling guide of the National Assembly (parliament) and the government of Dagestan in the Caspian littoral states in order to establish international relations.
In addition, he announced an order for the preparation next year of a Caspian forum on the theme: "Interregional cooperation of the Caspian states."
