Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has instructed the Minister of Intelligence and Interior Minister to investigate the attack on parliamentary deputy Ali Motahari.
On March 9 unknown assailants on motorcycles, armed with stones and sticks, attacked the car of Motahari in Shiraz. The incident occurred at the airport of the city.
Ali Motahari is currently under pressure from conservative politicians and deputies of Iran in connection with the attitude of opposition leaders Mehdi Karroubi and Mir Hossein Mousavi, who have been under arrest since 2011 because of protests against the results of the presidential elections of 2009, Trend reports.
