Russia and South Ossetia establish diplomatic missions.

Russia and South Ossetia have signed an agreement on the mutual accommodation of their diplomatic missions, ITAR-TASS reports.

"The signing of this document is an important step towards strengthening the legal framework of the relations between Russia and South Ossetia," said Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs. Murat Dzhioyev, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, noted that “the signing of the agreement is a continuation of the steps taken on the 9th of September 2008, when diplomatic relations between our countries were established."
