Isabayev becomes Kazakhstani ambassador to Azerbaijan

 

Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev has replaced Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Amangeldy Zhumanayev with Beybit Isabayev, zakon.kz reports.Isabayev represented Kazakhstan in Pakistan, Turkey and Albania in the early 2000s. He has spent his last 6 years as the ambassador to Kyrgyzstan. In 2008, he was deputy minister for culture and information, serving as the acting spokesman of the Kazakhstani leader for a year.
