UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said at a meeting with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the 3rd World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai (Japan) that the neutrality of Turkmenistan was one of the most powerful factors maintaining peace, security and stability in the region, Trend reports.
The president and the secretary general expressed confidence in the efficiency of the framework action program after 2015 in strengthening positive international contacts for universal sustainable development.
