UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said today after talks on Iran's nuclear program between Iran and the 5+1 international mediators at the level of Foreign Ministers that the parties made some progress.
"The sides had very good discussions. We achieved some progress, but there is still a lot of work to be done," TASS cited him as saying.
His words were confirmed by an anonymous source in European diplomatic circles. "The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and it was another step in the direction of the overall solution to Iran's nuclear issue," the diplomat said.
The next round of talks between the ministers will be held in Lausanne.
