Commander of the Allied Land Command in Europe Lieutenant-General Ben Hodges said that the U.S. will start training the Ukrainian National Guards in April. He explained that U.S. military instructors postponed the training process so as not to hinder realization of the Minsk Agreements, TASS reports.The general clarified that no orders for realization of the training program had been given. Overall, the program stipulates training of three battalions of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, which Kiev calls the National Guards. Each battalion will take 8 weeks to train, according to Hodges.
