Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that there was no Kurdish problem in the country. In his words, the problem was that self-identification of Kurds had not gained recognition, Gazeta.ru reports.Erdogan noted that economic underdevelopment of some regions was a problem.Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan asked his followers to lay down weapons and start a dialogue with Turkish authorities.
