A unique mine-clearing vehicle, "Gidrema", has been blown up on Monday afternoon in the Grozny region of Chechnya while clearing fields of explosives. No one was injured, RIA Novosti reports, citing Timur Taisumov, a spokesman for the EMERCOM regional department.
Altogether there are still around 24 thousand hectares of fields and forests full of mines and shells in Chechnya.
