An Armenian-Slovenian business forum took place today, October 11, attended by the Presidents of the two countries, Serzh Sargzyan and Danilo Turk. At the business forum Serzh Sargsyan said that work leading to the further integration of Armenia into the European Union has already been started, as well as the preparation of a comprehensive trade agreement with the European Union, News.am reports.
Slovenian President Danilo Turk gave an affirmative answer to rendering assistance to Armenia in its EU integration process. Serzh Sargsyan has underlined that Armenia has expressed its commitment to European values many times.
Danilo Turk mentioned several areas for possible efficient Armenian-Slovenian cooperation, first and foremost in information technology. He also mentioned tourism. According to Turk, if one creates the appropriate modalities and mechanisms, many Slovenians will visit Armenia.
