The security services arrested three militants from the group of Doku Umarov, implicated in the explosions at the Vladikavkaz market and at a police checkpoint on the "Kavkaz" federal highway in August and September of this year, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC).
A suicide bomber in a "Volga" car blew himself up on the 9th of September at the entrance to the central market in Vladikavkaz. The power of the bomb was estimated by experts to be the equivalent of 30-40 kilograms of TNT. 19 people were victims of the attack, with more than 200 injured.
