President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is ready to announce a referendum on the federal status of Ukraine any time.
"Under our legislation, our constitution, the federal status of Ukraine can be decided only by a nationwide referendum. At present, almost 90% of Ukrainians are completely against federal status. Because we are a unitarian state in we do not accept any form of pressure on Ukraine. And as the president of Ukraine, I am ready to declare a referendum, and by democratic tradition will obey the results of this referendum.
