Karachay-Cherkessian Leader Rashid Temrezov said today that the republic started improving the prestige of teachers and stimulating their professional work. Temrezov noted at a plenary discussion of the North Caucasus Federal University within the framework of the Russian language and literature forum that 2015 was declared the Year of the Russian and Native Languages, Interfax-South reports.
Temrezov thanked Rector of the Moscow State University Victor Sadovnichiy for sending 50 of his teachers of the Russian language and literature for internship in the republic.
