Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said today that some foreign powers have mire than halved the price of oil on the world market, and in his opinion this is due to economic pressure from Washington.
"The enemies of Iran" are trying to cause clashes between the people and the Iranian authorities through economic pressure, the report said. In this case, Khamenei said that the economic pressure on Iran is caused by the United States.
Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the sharp drop in oil prices is the result of a conspiracy on the part of a number of states.
